Samuel Stupp provides scientific leadership to promote the Center for Regenerative Nanomedicine's mission. He facilitates interdisciplinary research and creates opportunities for collaboration within Northwestern and extending to the national and international arenas. He generates resources and guides development of the research environment and infrastructure necessary for the Center's success.

Matt Irwin directs administrative operations and implements strategic initiatives at CRN. He serves as liaison to Center members and University units, oversees regulatory compliance and reporting requirements, and assists in grant seeking. He manages CRN's collaborative partnerships, finances, and domestic and international research exchange programs. He also directs the Center's communications, marketing, and outreach initiatives.

Liam Palmer provides technical leadership and serves as the scientific liaison for the team. He directs the implementation of strategic actions to ensure alignment with the Center's scientific objectives. He also coordinates scientific highlights and technical reporting requirements.

Mark Karver manages the CRN Peptide Synthesis Core Facility. He provides peptide synthesis, purification, and mass spectrometry-based services for researchers at Northwestern and external clients in the academic community, and provides training and consultation on related technical matters.

Nick Sather serves as liaison for starting new collaborative projects on campus and abroad. He provides technical and logistical guidance to the Center's researchers aiming to translate their research projects into the clinic. He also assists in coordinating patents and intellectual property.

Melissa Koelling oversees administrative and operational functions of the Stupp Laboratory on the Evanston campus. She supports academic activities and facilitates Professor Stupp’s communication with students, faculty, and staff. She manages manuscript submissions and group databases, prepares reports, and processes financial transactions. She also assists in coordinating CRN events and meetings that take place in Evanston.

Kasandra Lee provides automated peptide synthesis, HPLC purification, and mass spectrometry-based services for the Peptide Synthesis Core and maintains and trains users on instrumentation in ANTEC. She also maintains stocks of reagents and lab gases and is in charge of waste management for the Cores.

Todd Linton manages the visa application and appointment process for CRN-based researchers and assists the Center’s core facilities directors with financial oversight of their respective Cores. He also provides the full range of administrative support for management of CRN's financial, sponsored research, and human resources programs, and assists with new program development.

Tessa Lusis provides laboratory support functions in the Peptide Synthesis Core, including automated peptide synthesis, preparative and analytical HPLC, and mass spectrometry-based services. She also provides technical assistance, maintains instrumentation, and executes general and custom peptide projects involving non-standard modifications.
